Hard HIIT Workouts
Welcome to Free Fitness Gym,
We are pleased to offer you some hard High Intensity Interval Training workouts, these will push you hard and are ideally suited to someone who already has a good level of fitness.
Hard High Intensity Interval Training workouts are great for anyone who is looking for a new challenge, has got bored with their current workout regime, or have hit a plateau with their training and need a new format to shock the body and keep promoting adaptation.
If you have been stuck doing the same workout for years and have realized that your body is no longer changing and getting stronger, then it is probably time for you to change your training regime. It is very common to see people going to the gym year in year out, and they look the same with no improved results. This is what is known as a plateau and is generally a result of not changing your workout routine, or not working hard enough. All of our workouts will change from day to day, which will make the body keep guessing as to what is coming next, and when the body is in this state it forces itself to keep adapting to keep up with the ever changing training requirements.
This theory of training is often referred to as 'Intelligent Training', and gone are the days where you need to spend hours in the gym to feel like you have worked. Intelligent training focuses on maximizing your training routine against time spent in the gym. If you work hard under the High Intensity Interval Training principles then 12 minutes will tire you out enough for one session and will be equivalent to a good half an hour spent in the gym. If you do two of our workouts back to back this will give you a 30 minute session (including water stop half way) and this will easily be equivalent to a steady normal hour in the gym.
Remember that different people have individual training goals and if you want to be a long distance runner then you will still need to spend the time pounding the roads. Bodybuilders will need to still spend the time in the gym lifting weights to promote muscle mass. But if you are looking for general health benefits from exercise, enjoy a varied regime, want to tone up, lose weight (body fat), improve your cardiovascular fitness and the health of your heart all at the same time....then stick with High Intensity Interval Training workouts.
We hope you enjoy.
