Welcome to Free Fitness Gym,
This workout can be done as a stand alone workout or as part of our 'Beach Fit' program. If you are doing the beach fit program this is week 4 workout 2, and we hope you enjoy. We want to push your strength and target the entire body. This workout will place a little more emphasis on the upper body, to really try and get some nice toning happening.
Remember to compliment your workouts with a healthy balanced diet. If you are participating in lots of exercise then you will want to make sure you have enough protein in your diet. Your muscle require protein to repair and rebuild themselves. It is this rebuilding process that allows the muscles to get stronger and are crucial if you want to see results.
Ideally you will have a protein intake straight after your workout to feed the hungry muscles. But what people often forget is that you will also need a protein intake first thing in the morning. The reason for this is that muscles can recover during the day, but they repair at night time because the body releases a hormone to do this job.Muscles only repair at night time for this reason. So in the morning your muscles will be craving protein because they have been working a lot to repair themselves whilst you have been asleep. People often find it hard to eat a protein meal in the morning which is why protein shakes have become so popular. A protein shake should not be used as a meal replacement, but used to compliment an already healthy diet. Nick who is a personal trainer has a protein shake first thing in the morning and often encourages his clients to do the same. Everyone is different and some people can not stomach the taste of the shakes. It is also important to remember that protein shakes contain calories, so be sure to include these calories into your calculations.
We hope you enjoy the workout and let us know how you are getting on.
