Today we have a short and sweet 'Bingo Wings' workout to help you tone up the back of the arms. This fitness workout can be done as a stand alone workout or added to one of our other workouts. The back of the upper arm is often a problem area for many people, and we get a lot of requests to help with this area. There is no magic to fixing this particular area of the body just regular tricep work. The triceps make up the back of the arm muscles, and with regular work the tricep muscle will get stronger and give the toned look so many people are after. It is often a neglected area which is why so many people have problems with it. The tricep muscle is the larger of the upper arm muscles and the strongest, so if we can strengthen this muscle it will help to give you toned arms.
A lot of people do bicep curls to tone their arms, and although there is nothing wrong with this, bicep curls will not tone your tricep / bingo wings. Plus because the bicep muscle makes up less of the arm than the tricep muscle, it makes sense to work the tricep muscle ie the bigger muscle to achieve the toned arms look. Just training the Bicep muscle is probably one of the biggest mistakes people make with their training. So let's fix this problem today and start working this big beautiful muscle that makes up most of your upper arm.
Workout Breakdown:
Set interval timers to 50 seconds work, 10 seconds rest (or follow timings in our fitness video)
-Diamond push up.......................make sure the elbows graze the side of the body throughout
-Russian kicks...............................engage the core muscles throughout the exercise
-Chair Tricep push down.............drive the hands down into the chair, 90 degree bend in the arms
-Diamond push up
-Russian kicks
-Chair tricep push down
