Just a short workout video to work the core muscles. This fitness video can be done by most fitness levels, and for the more advanced fitness levels aim for a high intensity.
Exercises Included:
-Half sits
-Lower core raise
-Side obliques right side
-Side obliques left side
-Jack knife
We have designed this 5 minute abs workout to target all of the core muscles including the upper, middle, lower as well as the side oblique stomach muscles.
When performing the half sits try and pulse up and down whilst keeping the core muscles engaged at all times. Although they look like an easy exercise they are very effective at toning the stomach muscles.
Lower core raises will help to get rid of the annoying lower stomach overhang. This area is often over looked so work hard on this one. If you sit on your hands this will help to relieve tension in the lower back.
Jack knife is a difficult exercise to perform correctly so work hard on this one. At this point the stomach may be tired, and we are simply trying to finish the stomach muscles off with this exercise. Try and maintain a brief second of stability at the top of the exercise when the hands are touching the feet. Also try to keep the legs as straight as possible so that you are forced to reach up high.
Remember to eat a clean diet to compliment your workout regime. If you want to see those beautiful stomach muscles coming out then stay dedicated to your diet all week with maybe a cheat day, one day per week
