Welcome to Free Fitness Gym,
Today we have a tough 30 second squat challenge that will blow the legs out very quickly. If you find that 30 seconds is not long enough then try and do 1 minute. Alternatively if you can just about last the 30 seconds, then try and build up to the full minute.
For this exercise to be really effective we need you to have perfect technique. Make sure that you sit back on the heels of your feet and apply all of the work load through the back of the heels as you squat jump up and down. This will activate the glute/bottom muscles and allow you to work for a longer time. Try and keep backs straight throughout and keep heads up.
Nick uses this particular fitness challenge with the majority of his clients and typically does them at the end of each session. This allows the legs and bottoms to be drained of any last remaining energy.
Most people will find this particular challenge quite difficult, but if it was easy then there would be no point in doing it. This exercise is one of Nick's all time favorites because it gets the job done in a very short period of time.
We hope you enjoy and let us know how you are getting on.
