The following one minute challenge is a good starting point if you want to progress your strength to try some of our harder challenges. If you struggle with this challenge then keep including it into your normal workout regime and over time you will improve. You will need to build up some muscle memory with these exercises and the more often you do them, the better your body will deal with them. The great thing about this type of challenge is that multiple muscle groups are working together to deal with your own body weight, and this helps to keep muscles working really well together, and develops a nice strong chain of muscles. Some people find that their wrists hurt when load bearing, and if this is the case, you can buy floor handles to help with this issue.
Areas targeted
This challenge will work multiple muscle groups, but in particular the shoulders, chest, triceps and core. If you find this challenge too difficult then these are the areas you will need to work on.
Strengthening exercises
To help you build up your strength for this challenge, try and practice push ups to strengthen the triceps and chest. Also focus on core strength work and exercises like the plank will help you to build up strength relatively fast.
